BHA Training

Training OverviewBHA trainings evoke community humanitarian spirit. BHA recognizes that we have an amazing opportunity to be shaped in new ways as we learn to “walk in the shoes” of struggling families. Our trainings celebrate and call forth individual’s innate abilities to respond, as if in an earthquake. Discover how your community groups are inspired to initiate powerful solutions in resolving systemic poverty.

We realize how valiant an individual is, in surviving their most impoverished circumstances. A mother feels hopeless over her son joining a gang; a woman abused by her spouse clings to a quiet moment of sanity; these are a couple of examples of everyday struggles. Repeated situations continue to interrupt them; as the next crisis looms to destroy any possibility of making any progress and passes down through family systems.

To date our approach has been utilized in thousands of homes in Colorado, Utah, Illinois, Arizona Indian Reservations, and California, with remarkable success. Particularly notable is its success with residents from both heterogeneous neighborhoods (diverse racial/ethnic/religious/cultural composition) as well as homogeneous neighborhoods with predominantly American Indian, Latino, African American, or Caucasian.

“Your programs assist people cleaning the “stuff” out of their homes, off their desks and clearing up their lives. Your unique clearing processes assist people breaking the cycle of ‘clean out and then gather again’. They learn how to prioritize what is important to keep and what is not, through your unique values clarification processes that are long lasting.”
-Civic Leader: Debbie Driscoll, Mesa, Az.

Individual’s accumulation mentality spills over into neighborhoods, and impacts the well-being of the family unit. This affects children’s grades and how people relate with their peer groups, and erodes their communication with each other. Positive environments actively transmit and reinforce experiences of hope, trust and beauty in everyday life. Negative environments are quite the opposite – passive, neglected and rooted in a forgotten past.

Individuals of all income levels volunteer and are trained in a classroom webinar setting, followed by participants volunteering to have their home cleaned by the group. In addition, extended family and friends join. A support system continues on with volunteer mentors.

Through this process of learning, individual’s tend to discover their true nature, which is hidden underneath their collectibles and unused items. They discover the “Gem” that is within. We work within remarkable distinctions that release the individual from clutter of the mind, emotions, family systems and chaotic environments that drain the life force of individuals and their communities.

“Traditional approaches in cleaning a home or business focus on managing or getting a handle on your “stuff”, acting as if the problem is to be fixed, solved or controlled, rather than resolving issues behind an individual’s chaos and clutter. Space Management trainings teach how to resolve situational and generational poverty.”

Our trainings assist individuals in clearing and bringing order to their overwhelming conditions in their homes. Individuals overcome their physical and emotional baggage after having learned their new patterns for living. They gain freedom from the draining effect that occurs from attachment to past.

Participants learn how to resolve core issues of behavior causing depressed living conditions. They discover a capacity to rise out of negative circumstances and experience self-motivation. Those who serve are greatly impacted in their personal lives by recognizing “Everyone Has a Closet to Clean!”
